The Mads at SF Sketchfest!
This is it, guys. The big moment is here. We have reached the pearly gates of San Francisco, and will be performing at SF Sketchfest on January 15th at 7:30pm at the Brava Theater. Tickets are going fast and the theater is already half full, so now’s the time to get yours!
Plus, be sure to catch Rifftrax’s live show on January 7th at 8:00pm with guest riffers Mary Jo Pehl, Bridget Nelson, Adam Savage, John Hodgman, Paul F. Tompkins, Janet Varney, and Cole Stratton. Harry Potter will be involved, and several metric tons of awesome.
If you’re coming in from out of town to see the show, the event is offering discounted rooms at the Buchanan and the Sir Francis Drake hotels.
We’ll be waiting for you at the other end of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Mads Have Made the Papers
In preparation for our upcoming St. Louis show this Saturday the 12th, the Belleville News interviewed Trace. This particular interview is pretty special because Trace hints at our brand-new plans to start a fan club – or a “friend club”, as we like to call it. The Mads in St. Louis!
Hey Missouri friends! Trace and Frank will be playing two shows (7:00pm and 10:00pm) and hosting their riff-writing workshop (12:00pm) on December 12th at the Ivory Theatre in St. Louis! To read more about it, check out our article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
This show is super important because it will work a little differently than ones we’ve done in the past. Instead of getting our paycheck from the venues, we’ve taken a risk and had them personally rented out of pocket in the hopes that ticket sales alone are enough to make a profit (after our hotel, airfare, etc. have been paid for). If this show is a success, we’ll be able to play more rental venues in the future, which blows open the possibility of playing many more towns (maybe including yours!). So tell your friends, your dog, your dog’s friends, your dog’s fleas, and everybody to be at the Ivory on December 12th.
